Application Process

An overview of the application process for the Penn State Smeal Executive MBA Program in Philadelphia.

EMBA Application Deadline

Applications for the cohort beginning August 2020 are due May 1, 2020. Due to classroom size constraints and the cohort nature of the program, class size is limited and seats fill on a first-come, first-served basis.

To apply for admission to the Penn State Smeal Executive MBA, please follow the steps below. Applicants are not required to submit GMAT/GRE scores. Only complete applications will be reviewed by the admission committee. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, beginning October 1st.

International applicants please note: We suggest that applicants who completed their undergraduate degrees outside the U.S. begin the application process at least two months before the deadline to allow time for TOEFL/IELTS test score arrival, the completion of appropriate university documentation, translation and other review. Please review the application requirements for your country. You can see full requirements for our application at the Penn State Grad School's page for prospective students.
