Weekend Schedule

An overview of the typical class weekend schedule for the Penn State Smeal Executive MBA Program in Philadelphia.

During the first 13 months of Penn State Smeal Executive MBA, students will meet in-person for alternating class weekends that begin on Friday afternoons and conclude on Saturday evenings at Union League Liberty Hill in Lafayette Hill, Philadelphia.

Classes run from 1:30 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. on Fridays and from 8 a.m. until 5:15 p.m. on Saturdays. On Friday evenings, students typically meet with their teams to complete projects and assignments, or to attend supplemental lectures that may be scheduled as part of that weekend's activities. Meals also offer time for students to network and review material. Lunch is available to students on Fridays before classes begin and a casual dinner is held Friday nights. Breakfast and lunch are offered on Saturdays.

Explore: Our immersive EMBA Experience site brings you inside the Smeal EMBA to hear from students, faculty and alumni.

Faculty from Penn State's University Park campus also reside on site at Union League Liberty Hill during class weekends. It's a unique level of access that accelerates student development and allows students and professors to work side-by-side on real business challenges.
